ACT, SAT and PSAT Test Information
Students who are planning on attending a 4-year college after graduation may choose to register to take either the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) or the ACT (American College Test) in order to meet college entrance requirements.
As of fall 2021, most colleges are not requiring these test scores.

Traditionally, four-year college bound juniors are encouraged to take either the SAT or ACT by the end of 11th grade so they are ready to start their college applications in September of their senior year. December of senior year has been the final test date that could be considered for college admissions.
The SAT and ACT are offered at Century on specific test dates and at other district schools on other dates. Students on Free or Reduced lunch should talk to Mrs. Brokaw in the Career and College Center prior to registering for any tests as there may be a fee waiver available for the exam.
